For HVAC companies who are sick of giving $1,400 service calls to voicemail.
After-hours is when your phone actually rings, and it's also when your front desk is dark. This system answers in under a second, qualifies the emergency, pulls the right tech in your service zone, and confirms by text before the caller hangs up and Googles the next guy.
Here's a real one: a homeowner's AC is rattling, they have guests flying in Saturday, it's 10 PM, and your front desk closed at 6. The receptionist picks up on the first ring, asks how old the unit is, when the sound started, whether it's still cooling, and what zip, then checks tech availability in their zone and books the slot. The SMS estimate and confirmation go out seconds after hangup, the whole call wraps in under 90 seconds, and nobody on your end had to touch it.

The HVAC demo: real call, real system
This is the actual receptionist on a real HVAC-typical call. Listen end-to-end: it picks up in under a second, takes the full intake, books the slot, and sends the SMS confirm without ever sounding robotic. This recording is the proof the system works, whichever door you pick. Module 11 of The FCSS Operator Course teaches you to build this exact receptionist yourself, and the AI Department deploys and runs it for you if you'd rather never touch the wiring.

What changes Monday
The agent protects the front of your line, whether you built it from the course or we run it for you. The calls that would have died in voicemail end up as dispatched tickets instead, and your dispatch keeps working exactly the way it does today.
First-ring pickup, even at 2 AM
After-hours emergencies get triaged in under a second, so your tech sleeps while your phone still books.
The $89 diagnostic objection, handled
The agent reframes the service-call fee as credit toward the repair. That's the same pitch your best dispatcher uses, on every call, without anyone coaching them.
Zone and tech-type routing
The caller's zip and unit type map to the right tech, so you stop dispatching a furnace guy to a heat-pump call across town.
Seasonal maintenance upsell on the way out
The agent looks up the warranty and brand on the call, then attaches a tune-up offer to bookings it's already qualified.
Dispatch-ready ticket, truck-arrival SMS
The booking payload lands in your dispatch software the way your team expects, and the customer gets the "your tech is on the way" text without anyone typing it.
Learn to build it yourself, or have the AI Department run it
The courses teach you every system on this page. The FCSS Operator Course hands you all 21 as checklists, receptionist included, at $499 early bird while we record it and $1,000 at launch, and the full Trifecta bundles all three courses. If your hours are already sold to the trucks, the AI Department installs and runs the whole stack for you instead, voice agent from $1,000 a month.

Does it integrate with ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, or FieldEdge?
Yes. Bookings write back as dispatch-ready tickets in ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, FieldEdge, Jobber, or your own scheduling system. If your dispatch tool has an API, it gets wired during the install, and Module 11 shows you the same wiring if you're building it yourself. If it doesn't, the agent sends a structured email or SMS to your dispatcher with the same payload.
How does it handle the "what's your service-call fee?" objection?
The agent uses the same script your best dispatcher would: it reframes the diagnostic fee as credit toward the repair, names a real number, and books the appointment in the same breath. The wording is yours to edit, whether you set it during onboarding with us or build it yourself from the course, so the dollar amount, the credit terms, and the tone are all yours.
What about zone and tech-type routing? Can it match the right tech?
The agent checks the caller's zip against your service zones and the unit type (furnace, heat pump, mini-split, commercial RTU) against your tech roster, so a heat-pump call across town routes to the heat-pump tech in that zone instead of the closest body. You define the matrix during setup, and the agent enforces it on every call.
What happens after hours when my dispatcher is offline?
The agent runs the full after-hours emergency flow: it triages the call, qualifies the urgency, books the on-call tech against the live calendar, and sends both the customer and the on-call tech an SMS confirmation. Your dispatcher wakes up to a morning digest of every overnight call: booked, dispatched, or follow-up needed.

Book a 20-minute discovery call and we'll walk you through the demo, ask three questions about your dispatch flow, and tell you straight which door fits: learn to build it in the course, or have the AI Department run it for you.
