Tuned for Auto Mechanics

For Auto Shops & Mechanics businesses sick of letting check-engine-light calls go to voicemail.

It's Tuesday at 11 AM, you've got six vehicles on lifts and the compressors running, and the phone rings with a check-engine light on a 2018 Camry. Nobody on the floor can hear it. The agent picks up, walks the caller through the symptoms, year, and urgency, and books the diagnostic for tomorrow morning.

Then it texts them the shop address and drop-off instructions. The whole call wraps in about 80 seconds, and your floor never paused. You can build that agent yourself from our courses, or have us run it for you.

Learn it in The FCSS Operator Course, $499 early bird while we record ($1,000 at launch) · or done-for-you, voice agent from $1,000/mo, at /install

Hear it in action

The auto-shop demo: real call, real bot

This is the actual agent on a typical auto-shop call, end to end. It picks up in under a second, takes the full vehicle intake, books the diagnostic, and texts the confirmation. Module 11 of The FCSS Operator Course teaches you to build this exact receptionist, and the AI Department deploys the same one for you. Whichever door you pick, this recording is the proof the system is real.

What this looks like inside your shop

Here's what actually runs in your shop on day one. Each piece wires into the shop management system you already use, so nothing gets ripped out. The systems work the same whether you build them from the course or we run them for you.

01

Vehicle intake (year / make / model / miles, VIN if offered) with ShopMonkey, Mitchell, Tekmetric, or RO Writer sync

02

Symptom triage that asks the right questions per complaint: clunking, grinding, smell, light, leak

03

Diagnostic appointment booking routed to the correct bay type

04

Loaner and rental coordination plus service & maintenance price quoting on the call

05

Estimate follow-up callbacks and post-service Google review text

The done-for-you door

Rather never touch any of this yourself?

The AI Department deploys the voice agent, the site, and the shop-system tie-in, then runs it all with one accountable human on our side. Voice agent from $1,000/mo. Book a free call and we'll name the system your shop should start with.

Auto shop owners ask us this

Does it integrate with my shop management system?
Yes. ShopMonkey, Mitchell 1, Tekmetric, and RO Writer are wired out of the box, so the vehicle intake writes straight into your existing customer file and the appointment lands in your scheduler. Module 11 covers the wiring if you build it yourself, and our team handles it on a done-for-you install. Other systems take about a week to set up; tell us yours on the discovery call and we'll scope it.
What happens when the customer says something the bot doesn't understand, like a weird noise?
The agent asks clarifying questions the way a service advisor would: "Is the sound coming from the front, the back, or under the hood? Does it happen when you brake or when you accelerate?" If it still can't categorize the complaint, it books the diagnostic anyway and flags the call for your service advisor to review before the customer pulls in, so you don't burn lift time figuring it out cold.
Can it quote prices on the call, or does it always say "we'll need to see it"?
Both, on purpose. For standard services with published pricing (oil changes, brake jobs, tire rotations, alignments) the agent quotes confidently in the range you set. For anything diagnostic or repair, it explains why a tech needs to see it first and books the inspection. You set the menu, and the agent sticks to it.
What about parts availability? Does it check my inventory before booking?
The base build books the appointment and your service advisor verifies parts before the customer arrives. If parts availability is the real bottleneck for you, the inventory check gets added on a done-for-you install: the agent checks your inventory system in real time and only books appointments where the parts are in stock or arriving by the requested date.
Do I have to be technical to build this myself?
No. The FCSS Operator Course is written for owners, and every module is a checklist that names the exact tools and the order to click them in. Module 11 covers the voice receptionist end to end, and the ship-it test is a live number that survives ten of your own test calls. And if you'd rather never touch it, that's what the AI Department is for.

Stop letting the lift be louder than the phone. We'll fix both ends.

One discovery call is all it takes. We map your current call flow, walk you through the demo on your phone, and tell you which door fits: build it yourself from the course, or have us run it. Or skip the call and start with the course today.
