Tuned for Lawn Care & Landscaping

For Lawn Care & Landscaping businesses sick of missing quote calls because you're on the mower.

It's 1:30 on a Wednesday and you're finishing a half-acre across town when the phone rings. A homeowner with a similar yard wants a quote, and you can't pause the mower. The agent picks up, runs the intake questions, gets the address, and books the estimate for Friday.

The caller gets an SMS confirmation with your arrival window, the whole thing wraps in 70 seconds, and your crew never breaks pattern. You can build that agent yourself from our courses, or have us run it for you.

The lawn care demo: coming soon

We're recording a live call against a real lawn-care scenario right now: homeowner with a 6,000-sq-ft yard, fence access, two dogs, wants a weekly mow plus a one-time hedge cleanup. The receptionist on these recordings is the same one Module 11 of The FCSS Operator Course teaches you to build, and the same one the AI Department runs for you. While we finish this one, listen to a related demo and picture your shop on the line.

What changes Monday

You stop being the bottleneck. The phone keeps ringing, quotes keep landing on the calendar, and your hands never leave the equipment. Here's what runs in your shop, whether you build it from the course or we run it for you:

1

Property intake done right

Yard size, services needed, gate access, pets, irrigation: the questions you'd ask if you weren't holding a string trimmer.

2

Service-area lookup against your route map

If the caller's zip sits on your map they get booked, and if it's outside your zone they get a polite no and a referral. No 40-minute drive for a $40 cut.

3

Estimate booking with arrival-window SMS

Booked straight to your calendar with a confirmation text the caller can show their spouse. No tag-back-and-forth voicemails to chase.

4

Recurring signup and seasonal re-outreach

One-time mows get an offer to go recurring, and your old recurring clients get a spring-startup call before your competitor reaches them in March.

5

Pricing range FAQ and post-service review ask

The bot can quote a ballpark on the call so you stop having to text everyone "$50 to $70, depends on the yard," and every finished job auto-asks for a Google review.

The done-for-you door

Rather never touch any of this yourself?

The AI Department deploys the voice agent, the site, and the follow-up systems, then runs it all with one accountable human on our side. We bring the framework, your operators bring the route knowledge. Voice agent from $1,000/mo. Book a free call and we'll name the system your operation should start with.

Common questions from lawn & landscape operators

What if a caller wants a quote and the bot doesn't know my pricing?
Your real pricing ranges get loaded during install ($X per visit for a quarter-acre, $Y for a half-acre, hedges per linear foot, mulch per yard) and the bot quotes a range on the call the same way your foreman would, then books the estimate for a real walk. Nobody gets a hard number without you laying eyes on the property.
Will the bot actually know where my service area ends?
Yes. Your zip-code coverage map gets loaded during setup, and if a caller's outside the zone the bot politely declines and offers a referral or waitlist spot, so you stop wasting a 40-minute drive on a yard you'd never quote profitably.
What happens with off-season calls, say a hedge trimming in January?
You set what's in-season for your operation, and off-season requests get logged with a follow-up window (spring startup, fall cleanup, post-frost) so the bot offers to call them back the week you're ready to quote it. Old recurring clients get an outbound call before you'd even remember to text them.
How long until it's actually answering my calls?
If we run it for you, the install runs about a week from signed brief to live agent on your number. You don't have to port the number: a parallel forwarding setup lets the agent take calls without putting your existing line at risk, and if something sounds off in week one, we tune it the same day. If you build it from the course, Module 11 is a checklist you work at your own pace.
Do I have to be technical to build this myself?
No. The FCSS Operator Course is written for owners, and every module is a checklist that names the exact tools and the order to click them in. Module 11 covers the voice receptionist end to end, and the ship-it test is a live number that survives ten of your own test calls. And if you'd rather never touch it, that's what the AI Department is for.
